About
Sibel Tarhan Kasapoglu, born in Istanbul, received her baccalaureate degree from the German School (Deutsche Schule - Istanbul) at the same time as she graduated from the National Conservatory and Ballet School.
Receiving her BS in Visual Arts and Stage studies from the Mimar Sinan University Mimar Sinan of Istanbul, she became ballerina and choreographer in the Ballet Company of the National Opera and Ballet National in Istanbul where she performed in many classical and modern ballets as a soloist or as the leading ballerina next to her personal compositions. Since 1999 Sibel exhibits her work at many art galleries in Turkey, as well as western Europe while she attends the Film Academy for movie directors in Istanbul.

Sibel Tarhan Kasapoglu, née à Istanbul reçoit son baccalauréat de l’Ecole Allemande (Istanbul) en même temps que l’Ecole de Ballet du Conservatoire National.
Licenciée en Arts de Scènes et Visuels de l’Université Mimar Sinan d’Istanbul, elle fût ballerine et chorégraphe auprès de l’Opera et Ballet National á Istanbul ou elle performa dans plusieurs ballets classiques et modernes en tant que soliste et danseuse étoile, mettant en scène plusieurs chorégraphies pour ballets et compositions personnelles. Depuis 1999 Sibel présente ses œuvres dans des expositions en Turquie et hors du pays, fréquentant les cours de l’Académie du Film pour Directeurs à Istanbul.
